What is one thing you plan to do on this cruise ?

Charlotte Said:
Hi, Gang!!
I hope you are getting excited about our cruise, it won't be long now!!! I was thinking back on what I did on my last cruise and what I would do different on this one.
Actually, I would do a couple of things different. First, I would definitely read the daily cruise itinerary (that they slide under your door nightly) and take it with me. I want to make sure that I know what's going on, what time, and where. I know that I missed some functions that I would of enjoyed. There is something going on all the time, at all hours, so getting bored is not an option.
Second, I want to take a land excursion....either by jeep or dune buggy convertible to explore the island. Our last cruise we scheduled a shore excursion via a catamaran which included snorkeling and beach party, however, it was cancelled due to rough water. (Our 2nd choice was also cancelled) So, we went shopping and had a fun lunch at Jimmy Buffett's Margarittaville.
So, since I have shopped Cozumel, I now want to see Cozumel, tour the island, see the ancient Myan ruins, enjoy the culture, history and scenic beauty, and stop at a beach along the way to enjoy the water, if I so desire! Remember, whatever you do... HAVE FUN!!!!!

Peggy Said:
I’ve been to Cozumel twice now and though Charlotte and I made the best of the first trip, I have to say my second trip was more fun. Number 1 because the weather was soooo much better and number two because I took the time to act silly. So my answer to this months question is more of the same!
That agenda you’re going to find in your cabin each evening is your map to finding me. I plan to participate in all the dance classes and games while on-board. I have never laughed so hard in my life as I did when they tried to teach Ms. Two-left feet here the cowboy cha cha…. And I’m pretty sure I bruised a rib when my boyfriend was a contestant in Family Feud. The pictures and memories from “Battle of the Sexes” will haunt my girlfriends for a lifetime.
So this trip I plan to do more of the fun stuff. Yes, I will try to learn a new dance step or two so we can take a spin around the dance floor. Yes, I will sing Karaoke and applaud you as you do. Of course you will see me try to compete in the trivia games and in anything that might win me a “coveted 14-carrot gold plated plastic” trophy… You’ll understand that later. So join me and lets take advantage of everything the ship has to offer.

January Cruise News - What to Pack?

Charlotte Said:

Happy New Year everyone, we made it through 2010 and cruise time will be here soon!! I am so excited!!! Now for the hardest decision and time consuming preparation for the cruise: WHAT TO PACK?!?!?!
I start thinking about what do I really NEED and end up taking enough for 2 weeks, or so it seems.
I ask myself.. What will I be doing: Working out (work out clothes, and don't forget tennis shoes), daily activities (leisure clothes - such as shorts, stylish warm up suit, cute tops, skirts, jeans etc., and cute comfy shoes ), by the pool or hot tub (swimming suits, cover up, beach bag, beach hat, sunglasses, flip flops, sunscreen, chap stick, a good book, or preferably..... a handsome man lying beside me (OOPS scratch the last item, my fingers typed my thoughts!).
The cruise will also include evening activities such as dinner, maybe dancing, late night comedy, a play or just socializing with friends, that I will want to "Dress Up" for...by that I mean everything from black slacks, black dress, sun dress, cute skirts, cute sparkly rhinestone tops, and my stiletto heals, of course!!! (still looking for that handsome guy)!! I'm sure I'll pack a cute light weight jacket for late night by the pool enjoying a Margarita, Pina Colada, or a cold beer with our friends!!
Oh, and don't forget your comfy walking shoes for the day in Cozumel, or dress accordingly for the excursion that you might have chosen.
Now that I have talked about what us girls should pack....this is for you GUYS....swim suit, work out (gym clothes - if you so desire), shorts, jeans, slacks, casual shirts, dress shirts, coat & tie, tennis shoes, flip flops and dress shoes!! Wow, so easy, and you always look so good?!
Of course, don't forget all your toiletries, medications, essentials, and money/credit cards for SHOPPING! And last but not least....YOUR PASSPORT!!! Happy packing, I'm starting now so that I won't forget a thing.........I'm so excited, we're going to have so much fun!!!!!

WOW!! Okay she did leave me a little room but what did we expect from a woman who brings a steamer trunk to NY for a two day visit.
Me, I will probably pack the morning of the cruise and my list is simple. Passport and monies; swim suit, sun screen, and a good book; sun dress and sandals for Cozumel; a dress and heels for dinner; shorts, flip flops and SentryNet shirts for the classes; and my toiletry bag. That should all fit in my duffle bag with a bottle of wine and a 12 pack of cokes. See you onboard!!!
